Symptomatic Dermographism Activity Score (SDAS) - non-commercial use

The SDAS is a disease-specific questionnaire to assess the disease activity in patients with symptomatic dermographism. It consists of a daily eleven-item questionnaire and is quick and easy to use for patients.

The SDAS was developed at the Charité by a team headed by Dr. Melba Munoz, Dr. Karsten Weller and Prof. Marcus Maurer. The questions included in the SDAS were generated together with the help of patients. Impact and factor analyses as well as visual validity testing and the development of a scoring system were considered for the generation of SDAS. The SDAS is also suitable for patient care as well as clinical research studies.
