Product information "Cold Urticaria Activity Score (ColdUAS) - non-commercial use"
The Cold Urticaria Activity Score (ColdUAS) is the first instrument for assessing disease activity in patients with cold urticaria (ColdU). The questionnaire is simple and user-friendly, designed for adults and adolescents 12 years and older.
The ColdUAS was developed by a team of urticaria experts at Charité University, led by PD Dr. Dorothea Terhorst-Molawi, PD Dr. Karsten Weller and Prof Dr. Marcus Maurer.
The development process included a literature research, expert reviews as well as interviews with cold urticaria patients by following international guidelines. Possible bias and cofounding factors were discussed and examined during development process. By using an impact analysis and performing cognitive debriefing a final item set consisting of 4 items was generated and tested for reliability and validity. These 4 items are completed daily over a period of 7 days. Validation process is on-going and will be finalized soon.
